Hands-On History: The Goat Woman

Who was the Goat Woman? Do you know what a dobro is? Come to the museum and find out the answers to these questions about south Arkansas history. With the help of the museum's curator, explore the Boomtown Street gallery and discover the story of Rhene Miller Meyer, also known as the Goat Woman. See artifacts related to the story of the Goat Woman. Then, recreate the home of Rhene using cardstock, scissors, markers, glue and tape. This program is for children ages 6-12, but all are welcome. Adults are required to remain with their child for the program. Please call (870) 725-2877 to reserve a place for your child in the program.
