Great Backyard Bird Count: Birding Hike

Join us for a mid-day birding hike on the Delta Woodlands Trail at Lake Chicot State Park, part of the Great Backyard Bird Count, as we explore the forest in search of resident and migratory birds, listening and looking for species such as woodpeckers, warblers, and raptors, along the way you’ll learn tips for identifying birds by sight and sound, record your observations to contribute to the GBBC, wear comfortable shoes, bring binoculars, water, and a field guide if you have one, and enjoy a fun, educational hike perfect for birders of all ages.
