Girl Scouts Love State Parks: Guardians of the Green Service Patrol

Join the mission to protect Arkansas's natural beauty! In this hands-on service event, Girl Scouts will learn how invasive species threaten the native plants and wildlife of Lake Chicot State Park. With gloves on and tools in hand, participants will work alongside park staff to remove harmful plants, restore native habitat, and leave a lasting, positive impact on the ecosystem. Scouts will also earn environmental stewardship hours and leave with a deeper understanding of how small actions can create big change for our planet. Call the visitor center to register by September 9.
