Girl Scouts Love State Parks: "Finding Your Way" Badge Workshop

Junior Girl Scouts can sharpen their navigation skills during a special badge workshop focused on the “Finding Your Way” badge. This program covers essential skills such as reading different types of maps, understanding true vs. magnetic north, measuring distances, and using both a map and compass in the field. Lake Ouachita State Park will host this free workshop on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Space is limited, and troops must register by September 9 to participate.
