Girl Scouts Love State Parks 2025: Intro to Kayaking

Join a park interpreter for an introduction to kayaking on the serene Maumelle River. This 2-hour kayak program is a fun and safe way to dip your toes into the world of water adventure and is a great learning opportunity. We will cover paddling safety, equipment and techniques, then embark on a small adventure on the river. Wear shoes that can get wet, and be sure to bring water. Equipment is provided. Space is limited, and registration is required by Tuesday, September 9. To register, contact and pay at the visitor center at Pinnacle Mountain State Park, or call at (501) 868-5806 during business hours. We cannot take registration/payment the day of the event.
