Full Moon Guided Hike
Meeting Place: Sunrise Point
Admission: Free
Did you know that each full moon has its own name? These names were used by Native Americans to track the passing of time before the modern calendar. Meet a park interpreter at Sunrise Point for an easy, 1.5-mile hike where we will learn about July's full moon and its importance for the people and animals who have historically occupied Mount Nebo State Park. Flashlights will be provided, but feel free to bring your own light/headlamp for this rare chance to explore the park after dark!
