Many of us get lost in the hustle and bustle of the day and forget to take some time for ourselves, but the natural world relishes in the quiet before the storm. Embrace the day by joining a park interpreter on this early morning kayak excursion and get lost in the peace of crepuscular Chicot Lake.
Paddling experience is not necessary, but participants must be comfortable around water. Life jackets are required and will be provided. Children ages10-14 must be accompanied by an adult. Wear clothing you don't mind getting wet, bring water, insect repellent, and sunscreen. Space is limited. This tour is weather-dependent. Registration ends at 5 p.m. the day before the tour.
