Start your year with a peaceful first day hike at this prehistoric site. We are carrying on the traditions of the Plum Bayou people by gathering at this unique mound site. We hope to inspire a great new beginning for 2026. Join a park interpreter for a walk around the beautiful and easy to walk ¾-mile paved Knapp Trail that circles the remaining American Indian mounds. #FirstDayHikes
