First Day Hike 2026: Spring Trail

Join hikers in all 50 states by kicking off your new year with a hike at Queen Wilhelmina State Park! Take a meandering stroll with a park interpreter on the Spring Trail to celebrate the new year. The Spring trail is an easy 1-mile hike on the north side of the mountain with an abundance of beautiful valley views. Please remember to wear sturdy hiking shoes, bring plenty of water to drink, and dress for the weather. #FirstDayHikes
