First Day Hike

Take a walk back into the past to reflect on the future. Join a park interpreter to celebrate the first day of 2026 with a guided tour of the historic townsite. The town of Davidsonville only served as Lawrence County seat for 14 years, but even though nothing is left above ground, it serves as a foundation of the Arkansas we live in today. #FirstDayHikes
 
 This hike is an easy half mile on a trail that is partially paved. Guests will have the opportunity to sit or stand and rest during the tour. Layered clothing and sturdy shoes are suggested. #FirstDayHikes
