Family Fishing Derby

In partnership with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Cane Creek State Park will open its stocked catfish pond to all angler kids and their families. Bring your finest fishing tackle and your best bait to try and get the heaviest stringer. Contestants placing in first, second, and third place receive a prize. There are other categories that receive prizes too! You may keep your 3 biggest fish at the end of the derby! Prizes will be given at 3:30 p.m. Must be present to win.
