Over 1,000 years ago, the Plum Bayou Culture built this unique mound complex for ceremonial activities that may have included games, feasts, and other special celebrations. Celebrate the fall season by participating in a guided tour of the pre-historic mound site, culminating in the observation of the fall equinox sunset. The tour begins at 5:30 p.m., and is led by a park interpreter. We will observe the sunset over Mound A.
