Confluence Connections Hike

Meeting Place: Boat Launch
Admission: Free
The confluence of the Black and White Rivers have shaped the past and will shape the future of Jacksonport State Park and the surrounding area. Join a park interpreter in the boat launch parking lot (parking near river directly across from boat launch) to take an 1 ½-mile trail blazing hike out to the confluence. Here we will learn about "Stewardship" and how becoming a good land steward of the confluence area of the Black and White Rivers and Jacksonport State Park will contribute to a thriving environment for both man and beast. This hike will be intensive; please come prepared with water, sturdy shoes, dress for the weather and a snack.
