CANCELLED: Outdoor Skills Series: Night Sky Navigation

Due to inclement winter weather and associated safety concerns, all Arkansas State Parks programs and events are cancelled this weekend.

Led by a park interpreter, this program teaches how travelers have used the stars for centuries to find their way. With a simple star chart and a few recognizable constellations, you can identify the cardinal directions after dark. Learning to navigate by the night sky builds confidence, awareness, and a deeper connection to the world above you. Bring weather-appropriate clothing and red light flashlights.
