Bluegrass & Fried Chicken

This summer, retreat to the Ozarks for bluegrass pickin' and a healthy helping of fried chicken.  This two-day festival at the Ozark Folk Center in scenic Mountain View includes plenty of old-fashioned fun for the whole family.
Feature performers at Bluegrass & Fried Chicken include GRAMMY Award-winner and six-time IBMA Award-winner Dale Ann Bradley, Casey & the Attaboys, Youth in Bluegrass Champions Sylamore Special, Ozark Strangers and the Casey Penn Band.

The festival kicks off with an evening show at the Ozark Highlands Theater from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday.  On Saturday, music shows take place from 1 to 10 p.m. with a break for the Skillet's Famous Fried Chicken Buffet at the Skillet Restaurant from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. (Fried chicken sold separately, sorry.) 

Admission to the Craft Village is included from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for live music, craft shops, gardens and old-timey entertainment with the purchase of a festival ticket.

2023 Music & Craft Season Passes are honored for this event. Season Pass holders gain admission to all OFC-produced music festivals, contests, and evening concerts at the Ozark Highlands Theater. (A concert value of more than $250 for $79.) Passes also include unlimited visits to the Craft Village at the Ozark Folk Center for live mountain music, craft demonstrations, shopping at 20+ artisan shops, and old-fashioned fun every Tuesday through Saturday during the season (Apr. 11 through Oct. 28).
