Birding on the Little Missouri

Meet a park interpreter at the trailhead of the Little Missouri River Trail to learn all about the world of birding. This 1.2-mile trail winds its way through the woods from the campground to the scenic Little Missouri River. A portion of this trail is paved, and the unpaved section is easily walked. It is recommended to dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. The park interpreter will have one set of binoculars for the group to share.
