Bird Survey Hike

Help a park interpreter survey the Lake Sylvia Loop Trail for birds! Learn how to survey for eBird, a public community science organization that tracks bird populations. Learn how you can help track birds in your own backyard! The hike along the Lake Sylvia Loop Trail is 0.8-mile, moderate, and will be taken at a slow pace to track data. Make sure to bring water and good hiking shoes! If you have binoculars or a birding field guide, bring them along too!
