Bird Island Tour

Lake Ouachita State Park provides remarkable habitat for migrating birds. Join us aboard our tour boat as we venture out to Bird Island. Here we are treated to a Lake Ouachita State Park sunset as we watch the purple martins, egrets, herons and red winged black birds settle in to roost for the night. Space is limited and fills up quickly. Make your reservations at the visitor center or by calling (501) 767-9366. If you have not paid by 5 p.m. you will go to the marina before the tour starts to pay for the tour. Please arrive at the marina 10-15 minutes early, because the boat will leave on time. Feel free to bring binoculars, a camera, and water.
