Barn Owl Box Workshop

Celebrate National Owl Awareness Day with a special hands-on workshop at Lake Chicot State Park! Join us as we dive into the fascinating world of barn owls and build your very own barn owl nesting box to take home.

During this interactive program, you'll learn about the vital role barn owls play in controlling rodent populations, how to attract them to your property, and how to install and maintain your new owl box. All materials and tools will be provided, and no prior building experience is necessary.
