Archeological Excavation: Archeology Pieces Together the Past

Plum Bayou Mounds Archeological State Park will host an archeological excavation during the first two weeks of June, and you’re invited! During this program, we will have a few artifacts found during the actual excavation happening on site this week for you to see. The puzzle of the Plum Bayou Mounds site has many pieces yet to be put together. Join a park interpreter to learn how archeology continues to reveal more of the story of this place.
