Annual Opt Outside Sunrise Summit Hike

Join the thousands of people across the United States that every year choose to avoid the holiday shopping and instead #OptOutside to hit the trails! Embark with a park interpreter as we hike to the summit of Pinnacle Mountain, the tallest peak in our park, before the trails open to catch a magnificent sunrise over the Arkansas river valley. This hike is 1.5-miles round trip and strenuous. Sturdy shoes, a water bottle and a flashlight are strongly recommended. Sunrise is at 6:56 a.m. #OptOutside
