Adventure Series Workshop - Hiking Sticks

Come celebrate Great Outdoors Month at Lake Dardanelle State Park and engage in new outdoor adventures. We will host a new workshop each Saturday from 9-11a.m. Registration for each will include all materials needed for the workshop. These workshops are designed to provide basic instruction for each topic to let participants learn about the outdoor activities and try them out. This week's workshop is making Hiking Sticks; ready to hit the trails? Start your hiking journey at Lake Dardanelle State Park with our Hiking Stick Workshop! Join a park interpreter in the Lakeview Room of the visitor center to create your own custom hiking stick and earn your first hiking stick medallion. Learn how to select, shape, and personalize your stick, then hit the trails with a one-of-a-kind hiking aid you can call your own.
