Kara Helton started working with Arkansas State Parks as a seasonal desk clerk at Woolly Hollow State Park in spring 2018, and she is now a park interpreter at Village Creek State Park in eastern Arkansas. She loves being able to explore what wonders The Natural State has to offer and introducing others to it in her own energetic way. When she is not researching or presenting programs, she is often roaming the trails and sketching observations in her nature journal.
