David Armstrong began his adventure with Arkansas State Parks in 2012 as a seasonal park interpreter at DeGray Lake Resort State Park. He remains at Arkansas’s only resort state park to this day, now serving as the park’s lead interpreter. Drawn from an early age to the great outdoors and adventurous recreation, David feels most alive when experiencing nature by bike, board, boat, backpack, or anything in between. He enjoys exploring The Natural State these days with his beautiful wife and two adorable children in tow.
