Cara Curtis is a park interpreter at Mississippi River State Park in eastern Arkansas. After earning a degree in mass communications, she started looking for ways to tell Arkansas stories. Luckily, this led her to Arkansas State Parks where she gets to help visitors experience and make connections to her home state. When she’s not at work, you’ll probably find her in a boat with her dogs, Otis and Dolly.
