After four years in the Florida Park Service, Alex returned to his home state, serving as a seasonal park interpreter at Pinnacle Mountain State Park since May of 2019. He moved to Lake Chicot State Park as a full-time park interpreter in July 2021. Alex loves connecting Arkansans to Lake Chicot State Park’s resources through environmental education. When he is not doing what he loves as a park interpreter, Alex enjoys practicing traditional woodworking and creating music.
