Roughnecks and derrickmen, standard rigs and pipe-iron derricks; come to the museum to tour the Oil Park, as we learn about the 1920s oil fields. We will examine some of the different derricks and machines used during the boom times. We will then plan, design, and build, as you make your own structures using a variety of materials. The challenge will be to build a stable structure using these materials that can hold the weight of a cup filled with marbles, coins, and rocks. Please contact the museum to reserve a place.
