Spring Break: Stop Motion Animation/3D Pens

Meeting Place: Education Building/Auditorium
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Amission: Free
Come to the museum to experiment with 3D pens and the movie-making technique of stop motion animation. For one activity, participants will use a laptop and a camera to bring objects to life on the computer screen, just like in the movies. For the second activity, you will use a 3D pen that works by heating plastic, like that of a hot glue gun. The pen will allow you to effectively draw structures in the air or on a flat surface. We will then take a tour of Smackover's American Theatre on the museum's Boomtown street, and then proceed to the auditorium to view a silent movie. Please contact the museum at (870) 725-2877 to reserve your spot.
