More Fun Than a Box of Rocks Daisy State Park

Admission: Free

Meeting Place: Interpretive Center

Join Park Interpreter Leesha on an outdoor hunt for samples of Arkansas minerals and rocks. These geological samples have been encased in colorful plastic ovals (O.K., they are easter eggs) and strategically hidden on the playground. Six kinds of specimens have been chosen, color coded and placed in the ovals. The winner will be the first to find all six colors and trading is permitted. Come and share in the fun while we learn. The Arkansas State Rock and Arkansas State Mineral will be present. You will have to bring your own Arkansas State Gem!
