Intro to Backpacking Clinic Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area

Meeting Place: Pigeon Roost Trailhead

Are you wanting to know if backpacking is right for you, or new to the scene and wanting some experience? Learn the basic skills for an overnight backpacking trip and try out your equipment in a safe environment on this park interpreter guided, 8.5-mile, overnight hike. You need to provide your own equipment, food, and water. Participants are encouraged to attend our Backpacking 101 program in preparation for this hands-on workshop.
