Homeschool Casqui Days Parkin Archeological State Park

Admission: $2 students, $3.25 adults

Meeting Place: Visitor Center

This event is designed for homeschoolers to learn about the American Indians who lived at the Parkin Site. Students will receive a guided tour of the remains of the Casqui Village. They will learn about the pottery that was found in the excavations and discover facts about the daily lives of the American Indians including the food they ate, tools and weapons they used, and their interaction with the Hernando de Soto expedition. Participants are encouraged to reserve a spot early; slots fill quickly.
