Home School Thursday - Gardening for Native Wildlife Mississippi River State Park

Admission: Free

Meeting Place: Visitor Center

The second Thursday of the month, Mississippi River State Park will offer programs geared towards homeschoolers in 3rd grade or higher. Today we are exploring how to create native landscapes to benefit our native wildlife. We will take a tour of the visitor center gardens, which attract lots of native birds and insects as well other animals. Some activities will be outside, so please wear close-toed, sturdy shoes and insect repellent. Pre-register no later than one week before the class you plan on attending by calling the visitor center at (870) 295-4040.
