Centennial Day of Service: Plantation Agriculture Museum

Recycling was an essential part of rural life for people living over a century ago and it should remain an important part of ours today. One item that can be hard to recycle is glass, so let Plantation Agriculture Museum State Park lend a hand. Glass bottles, jars, and containers will be collected at the museum from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturdays in October and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays in October. Information on how to recycle glass throughout the year in central Arkansas will also be available. Light bulbs, plate glass, and glass containers with lids that cannot be removed cannot be accepted at this event. #ARStateParks100
