Girl Scouts Love State Parks 2024: Girl Scout Tree Promise

Join Park Interpreter Andrea to learn about the Ozark chinquapin, a chestnut species that has all but disappeared from its native range. Where did all the chinquapins go? Is there something we can do to help bring them back? Take the Girl Scout Tree Promise as you learn about the significance of this species to the local habitat. This program is geared toward Junior, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador girl scouts and can help you get closer to earning your Girl Scout Tree Promise patch! Please call the visitor center by September 9 to register.
