Girl Scouts Love State Parks 2024: Citizen Science Guided Hike

Join Park Interpreter Andrea for a short program at Sunrise Point where she will demonstrate some of her favorite tools for conducting citizen science. Then, embark on a guided 2-mile hike to practice using some of these tools in the field! Remember to dress appropriately and bring water for this easy hike, and feel free to bring any of your favorite citizen science tools! This activity is geared toward Junior, Cadette, Senior, or Ambassador girl scouts and can help you get closer to earning your Trail Adventure badge or completing your Think Like a Citizen Scientist journey. Please call the visitor center by September 9 to register.
