If you’re looking to learn to crochet but don’t know how to get started then look no further. Our introduction to crochet workshop is the perfect initiation into this addictive craft!
This workshop will cover the basics of how to hold your crochet hook and yarn. How to make a foundation chain, a slip stich and how to work a single crochet and double crochet stitch. During the workshop you will be introduced to following a basic pattern and you will make a small crochet project using basic stitches.
This class is suitable for absolute beginners and those who just need a quick reminder.
The cost of the workshop includes handouts, a crochet hook, and a skein of yarn to use and take home with you. Preregistration is required. This workshop is recommended for ages 12 and up. Call the park at (870) 685-3561 to register.
