Meeting Place: Pavilion #1
Doesn't the name alone grab your attention!? Originally designed to help Boyscouts reach a goal of achieving a 20-mile night hike, the Flapjack 20 is now an annual event that is open to the public! Join Park Interpreter Austin as he guides you along a portion of the Cane Creek Lake Trail under the light of the full moon. After the hike, prepare yourself for a warm fire and a hot breakfast with sausage, coffee, juice, and of course, flapjacks. Groups and individuals are welcome, but the last day to sign up for this event is Friday, January 26th. A headlamp or flashlight is required and warm clothes such as a good jacket, gloves, earmuffs, and warm socks are a must. Hiking boots are encouraged. Call Cane Creek State Park to join in on the fun!
