During this event, students will learn about the American Indians who lived at the Parkin Site. They will receive a guided tour of the remains of the Casqui Village, learn about the pottery that was found in the excavations, and discover facts about the daily lives of the American Indians including the food they ate, tools and weapons they used, and their interaction with the Hernando de Soto expedition. School groups are encouraged to reserve a spot early as slots fill quickly.
