Atop legendary Petit Jean Mountain lies the historic Petit Jean State Park Mather Lodge, a rustic-style mountain lodge crafted of native logs and stone by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s. Mirroring the rugged natural beauty of this special place, the 24-room Petit Jean Lodge stretches along a bluff overlooking95-foot Cedar Falls, a dominate feature of scenic Cedar Creek Canyon. The park's rental cabins are a short walk from Mather Lodge, and many share the same bluff as the Petit Jean lodge. The combination of the lodge's two dozen guest rooms and the nearby 31 cabins, many with fully-equipped kitchens, offers a delightful diversity of overnight choices – for meetings, banquets, weekend getaways or a fun summer vacation pool party. The restaurant in Mather Lodge serves rustic warmth, delicious Southern cuisine and sweeping views of sunsets over Cedar Creek Canyon. A meeting room near the restaurant can accommodate up to 50 persons with a cozy get-together room in the wing where the guest rooms are located. Located in west central Arkansas atop Petit Jean Mountain on Ark. 154, the Petit Jean Lodge is a 30-minute drive from either Morrilton (to the east) or Russellville (to the west). For westbound travelers, take Exit #108 off I-40 at Morrilton and travel nine miles south on Ark. 9, then go 12 miles west on Ark. 154.
