Trail Type: Hiking Trail

From the visitor center, the trail meanders along steep, hogback ridges and through a wooded stream valley to Lake Austell, then continues to the picnic area. Allow and hour or more for a leisurely hike through a variety of terrain. The trail is moderately steep in places and allows a good view of the Crowley's Ridge landscape and rich forest diversity of the park.

Additional Trail Information:
Connects the visitor center with the Lake Austell boat dock, swimming and picnic areas. You can begin the trail at any of these locations. Visitor Center to Lake Austell boat ramp - .91 mile Visitor Center to Lake Austell picnic area - 1.12 miles
