Arkansas's resort state park lies on the north shore of DeGray Lake, a 13,800-acre fishing and water sports destination in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains. Park interpreters lead sunset cruises snorkeling trips on the lake and guided hikes along park trails and the shoreline, a popular place to view the lake's abundant birdlife. Outdoor workshops and a variety of special events are hosted in the park throughout the year. Each January, the popular Eagles Et Cetera weekend celebrates the migration of American bald eagles to DeGray Lake.
