The Main House is the entrance to the museum. Exhibits include documents, clothing and artifacts dating from the Colonial period.

Meals were prepared in an open fireplace and the kitchen was often separated from the Main House for safety purposes. Early cookware and utensils are exhibited here.

Built in the 1930's, all the materials were made to scale. This unique playhouse is completely furnished and features a wood-burning fireplace, electricity and a screened back porch complete with swing.

Built in 1877, this dog-trot cabin is located within one-half mile of its original site. The house is furnished in the style of the late 1800s.
