Exhibits - Toltec Mounds Archeological State Park

Visitor Center Exhibits
Dates/Times: Open Monday through Saturday from 8a.m. to 5p.m, Sundays from 12 Noon to 5p.m.
Fees: Included with the park fee of $3.00 per adult and $2.00 per child ages 6 to 12, plus tax.
Self-Guided: Yes

The exhibit shows tools, pottery and other artifacts and tells of the site's significance as a ceremonial center and archeoastronomy site. Exhibits detail mound construction and the natural resources the Plum Bayou people used between 600 to 1050 A.D. Also see the 250-year old Griggs Canoe exhibit and a video telling the story of the Plum Bayou people.
