This trail takes the hiker through the most distinct and beautiful forest communities the park has to offer.

This nearly 3 mile trail traverses gentle ridges into the haunts of white-tailed deer. The trail also features a swinging bridge.

This trail preserves a portion of the now-famous Military Road that was the first Congressional road from Memphis, Tennessee to Little Rock, Arkansas. This road served as one route of the Trail of Tears. On the National Register of Historic Places, the route through Village Creek has been noted by the National Park Service as the most dramatic remaining section of the Trail of Tears .
