Devil's Den State Park

April 20 - 25 my husband and I camped in the equestrian camp to ride the Dogwood Ride with NW AR Cavalcade. The weather was perfect, the scenery couldn't have been better. Having ridden the trails in the summer and fall was wonderful but the spring ride gives a totally different experience. We were able to see things we were unable to see with the forest in full leaf. It just doesn't get any better than riding south of Lee Creek on the mountain and viewing the park store and the dam! We're looking forward to our next trip in June. The park office employees are friendly and so helpful with any of our questions. Horse people appreciate the park and hope the state realizes what a jewel they have at Devils Den and hope to see future development for equesterian activities.
