Arkansas winters are relatively mild and many birds remain throughout the cold winter months, with some food available naturally and many being attracted to backyard feeders. Cossatot River State Park Natural Area provides an excellent place for viewing winter birds. Join Park Interpreter Senters to search the visitor center grounds and nearby forest to identify some of these winter birds.
