For millions of years, fire has been part of the Earth’s natural cycle and has influenced natural selection and plant evolution. Fire is an important and necessary part of the life cycle of many forests. While it has many benefits to the ecosystem, fire can also be a serious threat to homes and communities, as well as to human life. Join Park Interpreter Flanary as we take a closer look at the “Two Sides of Fire.”
