About this Event

Admission: Free

Meeting Place: Beech Point Campground

Park interpreters are all about connecting visitors to the resources the park has to offer. Today we are focusing on ways to help you improve your observation skills as well as discover and learn about the natural world on your own. Keeping a journal of what you observe while you are out in nature is a great way to remember what you have seen, increase observational skills, relax, or just be creative. The interpreter has material available for you to make your own journal and is available to give you tips on ways you can use your nature journal to observe, study and explore Mississippi River State Park.

November 16, 2013 @ 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
