The American black bear is a valuable part of Arkansas’s wildlife population. Although it almost disappeared from our landscape due to habitat destruction and overhunting, conservation efforts have allowed our population numbers to return. Join a park interpreter to discover the habits and habitat of Arkansas’s black bear.
