Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area

Admission: Free

Meeting Place: Mulit-use Trail access on Piney Road

Mounatin biking is a great way to get out and explore with the whole family. Join Park Interpreter Rebekah, Ozark Off Road Cyclists, and Friends of Slaughter Pen Trails for this family-friendly, 4-mile bike ride  along the Bashore Ridge Loop of the 24-mile multi-use trail system at Hobbs State Park. This beautiful single track ride includes some big climbs and fast down hills as well as a great view of Beaver Lake. The ride is slightly technical, so no training wheels allowed. All riders must wear a helmet! There is a short introduction on how to ride, and several support riders are present. The event is designed for ages 6-16, but all riders are welcome! Kids, bring mom and dad to be part of the fun. Parents are encouraged to ride too. The ride is followed by a free hot dog cookout sponsored by the Ozark Off Road Cyclists.
